Rescue and Defend, LLC
Rescue and Defend, LLC was created out of a response to reach out to those exploited within the human trafficking industry. The organization consists of one manager and several volunteer associates. Steve Dunlap is the manager of Rescue and Defend LLC. Steve has 10 years’ experience working with trafficked victims, families, law enforcement, and non-government organizations. The associates affiliated with Rescue and Defend have similar background experiences including military and law enforcement training. The Rescue and Defend volunteers have engaged in experiences which include conducting cold contacts on the streets, investigating sex ads, establishing friendships with sex workers, transporting victims, targeted investigations, and working as covert operatives. Various teams collaborating with Rescue and Defend have worked nationally and internationally. Operational locations have included, streets, alleys, truck stops, rest areas, on-line sites, bars, clubs, brothels, etc. Anywhere victims are being trafficked Rescue and Defend will go! Over the years many victims have been assisted and rescued through the collaborative efforts of Rescue and Defend, non-government organizations, and law enforcement.
